In June 2026, Brussels Jazz Orchestra will be taking the big band ARKestra under its wing for a week. This international group of young people consists of top musicians from the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp, supplemented by talent from Codarts in Rotterdam and Hochschule Für Musik und Tanz Köln. The students will rehearse for a week under the guidance of BJO musicians, learning repertoire written by aspiring composers from the various conservatoires. The icing on the cake? A double bill with Brussels Jazz Orchestra.
